This study of Activity Burn and Pace revealed many interesting observations. Most importantly, is that light and moderate exertion can often produce the best results in terms of optimal Activity Burn. A slow jog at 5.2 mph appears to achieve optimal Activity Burn on foot, and varying your speed has a minor impact on calories burned when cycling for leisure. We also found that a good walk or bike ride satisfies recommended daily activity.
