We are excited to announce our acceptance into the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) Small Businesses Need Us program. The program helps people in historically excluded communities succeed as small business owners.

The Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) has accepted The Difference into its Small Businesses Need Us Program. A volunteer corps of business professionals executes the program, ready to help small businesses get back on track. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted that the majority of small businesses lack the necessary equipment to sustain through a crisis. Historically under-resourced communities often bear a disproportionate impact. This is evidenced by the closure of 40% of black-owned businesses due to the pandemic. IFEL engages business professionals in skills-based volunteerism to provide high-touch, hands-on support through their turnkey small business capacity-building system.

The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL), founded in 2002, is an independent, not-for-profit organization that supports economic development through entrepreneurship.
